The latest recorded message for the fans produced by the duo Sly and Robbie is ‘Give The Youth Dem An Income’. The song is written and sung by artiste Survivalist, who is being made popular with this hit by the prominent producing team. Survivalist who is no stranger to the music scene has the new name The Anointed One replacing Da’ Living Survivor.

The release of new Reggae track follows the recent announcement of a Grammy nomination in the Best Reggae Album category for the duo – Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare.

ABOUT THE ARTISTE:
Born in Kingston, Jamaica Survivalist grew up in Central Village St. Catherine. Shackled by an environment poverty and violence, he discovered music as an escape route at age 12. By then, he was tuning into the work of reggae icons such as Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Garnett Silk and only in due time would he join up with hometown friend, Luciano, who took him on a tour.
Soon the world was a platform for his burning mission.
